Ya, you should tell your nosy neighbors that you have an Airbnb property in the neighborhood. Here are some tips so they can become allies.
Tell Them in Person. I like to walk right over on the weekends (they tend to be happier then) and introduce myself with a smile telling them exactly what they need to hear in a very friendly and respectful manner.
Leave Them a List of Contacts. Yes make sure the number one contact is YOU. They will feel better knowing they have your direct line in case anything goes awry.
Get Their Number. You may need it somehow down the line.
Listen and Address Their Concerns. Tell them you have noise sensors too. Tell them how they work. Tell them you take the neighborhood integrity very seriously. Send them cookies on Christmas. It works.
